Lahar

Her 2024 series is inspired by the arid landscape of the Ardèche region, which fascinated the artist with the basaltic lava flow that runs through it. From this territory of moving fragility, vases with a more volcanic rock are born, combined with glasses in warm and amber hues, sometimes chromed. The gradient of colors as well as the silvering and gilding come from the complex Venetian technique of double sfumato, which gives the vase an indisputable preciousness.
