John Armleder's Capsule stools, published by WE DO NOT WORK ALONE, respond to each other with their minimalist colors and shapes. Glitter, a familiar element in the Swiss artist's paintings, is applied in layers of varnish by a body painter specializing in motorcycle and car decoration.
Capsule by John Armleder is inspired by Max Bill's Ulm stools. Designed in 1954 for the rooms of the Ulm School of Design in Germany, they are now produced by WB Form and bear the signature of Max Bill, an icon of Swiss functionalist design.
Capsule stools are available in 6 glittery colors (yellow, dark green, light green, dark blue, violet), with each piece produced in 6 numbered and signed copies.
