Zoé LADOUCE

Born in 1997 in Rouen, Zoé Ladouce lives and works in Marseille. A graduate of the Beaux-Arts in Lyon, Toulouse, and Marseille, she develops a practice at the crossroads of performance, installation, and writing. Her approach is in line with institutional critique, with particular attention paid to her condition as a young artist.

With humor and clarity, she stages the concrete realities of her profession: applications, failures, precariousness, but also the desire for recognition. In Hunt Successful, she transforms these often invisible processes into a physical and ironic work, where hunting pigeons become the messengers of an inverted CV. Through this work, Zoé Ladouce questions the value of artistic work and the possibility of capitalizing on failure.
