UCHRONIA
Uchronia is an agency created by the architect Julien Sebban, a graduate of the Architectural Association School of Architecture in London. This collective creates modern "experience spaces" – restaurants, apartments, fashion shows – removing the barriers between technique and creativity. He has carried out projects in France, Spain and South Korea.
This colorful world, imbued with his passion for the Memphis movement, showcases exclusively French expertise and craftsmanship. In 2019, Uchronia won the renovation project for the Galeries Lafayette restaurant and the Musée d’Art Moderne de la Ville de Paris. For the latter, the studio chose to adopt simple lines, a trio of raw materials (stone, concrete, and vegetation), even going so far as to design the menu on a stone sheet.
