Thomas Paquet x Odile Mir

Léonie Alma Mason, architect and granddaughter of sculptor and designer Odile Mir, introduced artist Thomas Paquet to the re-editions of furniture created by her grandmother in the 70s. It was then that they decided, in a reflection between contemporary art and design, to reinterpret the FILO maxi armchair (in numbered chrome and VVN leather).

Using the natural leather of these armchairs as a photosensitive surface, Thomas Paquet exposed them to the sun according to a precise protocol, enabling Léonie Alma Mason to produce three unique and original versions of the famous armchair.

Private Choice 's 2023 edition features two insolated armchairs and two footrests that have retained their original appearance.
