Thomas Paquet x Odile Mir
Léonie Alma Mason, architect and granddaughter of sculptor and designer Odile Mir, presented the re-releases of furniture created by her grandmother in the 70s to artist Thomas Paquet. Together, reflecting on contemporary art and design, they decided to reinterpret Odile Mir's FILO maxi armchair (in numbered chrome and VVN leather).
Reclaiming the natural leather of these armchairs as a photosensitive surface, Thomas Paquet will then expose them to the sun according to a precise protocol, thus allowing Léonie Alma Mason to produce three new and unique variations of the famous armchair.
Private Choice presents two sun-exposed armchairs and two footrests that have retained their original appearance at its 2023 edition.
