Sebastien DELBES

Graduated from the Beaux-Arts de Paris in 2024, Sebastien Delbes develops a style of painting that is at the intersection of abstraction and narration. He composes dreamlike landscapes populated by polymorphous figures, between fantastical vegetation and enigmatic presences, illuminated by artificial lights as if emerging from a parallel world.

Her works, created using gouache and pigments, unfold a spectral world permeated by shades of purple and dense mists. Each image seems suspended between two moments in time, at once intimate and fictional, like a diffracted memory. Through these mental forests, the artist explores the metamorphosis of identity and our relationship to sensory environments.
