Sebastian HERKNER

Among the European stars of German design, his name frequently appears in exhibitions and collections. He is a symbol of a new generation focused on all forms of craftsmanship. He won the EDIDA award for "Designer of the Year" (2021).

Born in March 1981 in Bad Mergentheim, he graduated from the Offenbach Design Academy in 2006, where he settled and founded his studio in 2006. Sebastian Herkner retains an innate sense of essential and original values. Beyond embodying a perfect playground, his adopted city (the center of the leather industry in Germany) speaks to his sense of roots and his desire to celebrate memory and observation through his creations.
