Sara BADR-SCHMIDT

Sara Badr Schmidt is a visual artist born in Stockholm. Of Swedish and Lebanese descent, she has lived between Lebanon, France, and Sweden. She currently lives and works in Paris.

One of her main projects, Borderless, is a reflection on the impact of geographical and ideological borders on individual and collective freedoms. She approaches political subjects in a positive and poetic way, in order to provoke emotions and questioning.

The first photo in the series, Borderless, was taken on the Lebanese-Israeli border. A border that seems absurd in the face of the immensity of the sky and its lack of borders, especially since Sara comes from two different countries and cultures: she knows that we can live together.
