Sara Badr Schmidt

Sara Badr Schmidt is a visual artist born in Stockholm. Swedish and Lebanese, she has lived between Lebanon, France and Sweden. She currently lives and works in Paris.

One of her main projects, Borderless, is a reflection on the impact of geographical and ideological borders on individual and collective freedoms. She approaches political issues in a positive, poetic way, with the aim of arousing emotions and raising questions.

The first photo in the series, Borderless, was taken on the Lebanese-Israeli border. A border that seems absurd in the face of the vastness of the sky and its borderlessness, all the more so as Sara comes from two different countries and cultures: she knows that we can live together.
