Reidar Mester is a contemporary artist who draws inspiration from historical craftsmanship. His unique approach merges architecture, design, and traditional techniques to create unique works of art. One of his creations presented at Private Choice 2024, the Hyalin stool, embodies the principle of functional pragmatism, using aluminum plates assembled with cylinder head screws and a central bar. However, Mester goes beyond mere functionality by transforming these visible connections into aesthetic elements in their own right. The addition of a glass plate contrasts with the opacity of the aluminum.

This artist is represented by CØR Studio, a unique creative space in the heart of Paris offering a minimalist setting for various events. Functioning as a Collectible Design gallery, it hosts temporary exhibitions showcasing innovative artists and objects with bold styles and exceptional craftsmanship.
