Reidar Mester is a contemporary artist who draws his inspiration from historic craftsmanship. One of his creations presented at Private Choice 2024, the Hyalin stoolstool, embodies the principle of functional pragmatism, using aluminum plates joined by pan-head screws and a central bar. However, Mester goes beyond simple functionality by transforming these visible connections into aesthetic elements in their own right. The addition of glass contrasts with the opacity of aluminum.

This artist is represented by CØR Studio, a unique creative space in the heart of Paris offering a minimalist setting for a variety of events. Functioning as a Design Collectionnable gallery, it hosts temporary exhibitions featuring innovative artists and objects with bold styles and exceptional craftsmanship.
