Marius GHITA

Born in 1999, Marius Ghita lives and works in Cluj, Romania. Graduated form the University of Art and Design of Cluj, he is currently pursuing a doctorate in visual arts. His oil paintings revolve around personal memories transposed into mental landscapes, nourished by literature, cinema and a certain melancholy.

His compositions, on an intimate scale, invite the viewer to fill in the blanks: suspended scenes, blurred silhouettes, fragments of stories left unresolved. Between presence and erasure, each canvas becomes a tipping point between the real and the imaginary. Marius Ghita thus constructs open images, with sober colors, where mystery acts as a narrative engine.
