GOFFIER House
Founded in Paris by Thierry and Bertrand Montier, Maison Goffier carries on the tradition of the great French houses where artistic craftsmanship and contemporary design converge. At the intersection of design, fine arts, and sculpture, the company has developed a unique aesthetic centered on light, conceived as a material capable of revealing and transforming space. The creations are crafted in collaboration with master glassmakers and artisans selected for the excellence of their craftsmanship.
At the heart of this research lies pâte de verre, an ancient technique whose qualities of transparency, density, and depth Maison Goffier harnesses. Poured into single-use molds and then melted, the glass is subsequently cut and polished by hand to reveal its nuances and irregularities. When light passes through it, the material seems to come to life: bubbles, streaks, and color variations create abstract landscapes that shift depending on the lighting and the time of day.
Maison Goffier champions French design that is thoughtful, sustainable, and deeply artisanal. Each piece is conceived as a work of art to be lived with, designed to be a lasting part of any interior. While table lamps currently form the core of its collection, the brand intends to gradually expand its range to include new types of furniture and lighting—from wall sconces to console tables and coffee tables—thus shaping a world where materials, light, and architecture become one.
