Stylist in ready-to-wear turned ceramist, Katia Soussan has always had an intuitive relationship with materials. Today, clay is her preferred medium. In her creations, she seeks to slow down, let go, and allow herself to be guided by gesture and immediate sensations.

Her pieces, always unique, embrace the roughness, imperfections, and traces left by handwork. Each ceramic expresses a buried emotion, inscribed in the unconscious, revealed by delicate or raw textures. Through her creations, Katia Soussan celebrates the fragile beauty of imperfect forms.

For the 2025 edition, Private Choice presents never-before-seen creations from the Racines (Roots) series. Each piece, sculpted in organic interlacing, evokes natural networks, underground links or plant architecture. These ceramics seem alive, shaped by a spontaneous gesture that gives free rein to asperities.
