Hélène Nepomiatzi
With a background in crafts, fashion and leather goods, Hélène Nepomiatzi is an innovator in the creation of design objects. Born in Paris in 1965, she studied at Studio Berçot and launched her career in the world of luxury goods, for which she designed accessories. Passionate about working with leather, the artist has never ceased to divert its uses during her years of experience with Hermès, Céline and Karl Lagerfeld.
Constantly striving for astonishment, her approach invites playfulness as much as it values know-how. Accompanied by her eponymous studio, the artist reuses the vocabulary of the leather goods industry through her design pieces made from colorful calf leather, sourced from short supply chains.
For Hélène Nepomiatzi, letting go is the only way to give birth to authentic, spontaneous authentic and spontaneous creationsfreeing herself from codes to revisit form and function.
The Tableau à Poches is a unique piece available in three colorful versions. The pieces, made near Tours, are made from cotton and full-grain calf leather, sourced from leading French tanneries.
