EXERCICE

Edouard Danais and Gwendal Le Bihan, students from the Nantes School of Architecture, founded the Exercice studio in 2018. They are collaborating with the French glassmaker GlassVariations on the "Monolog" collection.

Often overlooked in interior design, glass reveals its delicacy in this seat, making the most of the material's properties and the expertise of the glass artisans (here, the technique of UV glass bonding, which eliminates any trace of joint, but requires rigorous positioning to adhere). A masterpiece of balance and light, it also ensures a comfortable seat.
Adopting an eco-responsible approach, Exercice works with reuse by using glass scraps from the GlassVariations workshops, and this constraint of material economy has stimulated the design.
