Emanuele RICCI

Emanuele Ricci was born in Arpino, Italy, on August 22, 1991. He lives and works in Paris.

His subjects include architectural composition, spaces, and how they are inhabited.

In 2017, he began research at UBA FADU in Buenos Aires, where his theme, "the garden city," questioned the future of the growing Argentine megalopolis by proposing a system to control urban sprawl and make the city sustainable and compact. He also conducted research on emergency housing situations in South American megalopolises as part of an international congress organized by Althea International on this subject.

In 2018, he founded the SESTO STUDIO agency, which focuses on contemporary architecture, radical design, and visual art. His style creates projects with lasting identities that tell a contemporary story of tradition and innovation. Emanuele also continues to work as an architect at Ateliers Jean Nouvel.

The metal console (SESTO STUDIO) uses a raw material linked to the world of construction but treated to give it a new life as a noble material in a domestic context.
The shape recalls a facade module of a modernist building. Structurally redesigned to maintain maximum lightness, the console becomes a sculptural, multifunctional object.
