Constance LAFONTA

Born in 1997 and trained at Central Saint Martins and Beaux-Arts de Paris, Constance Lafonta's painted and sculpted works offer a sensitive, intimate narrative of the passage from shadow to light. Each work articulates a stage in her initiatory process, a threshold towards appeasement. Her choice of materials, scales and voids reflect a constant concern to make her work an active, almost therapeutic presence.

For Private Choice 2025, the artist presents a series of ceramic sculptures, including a bronze portrait, as well as two oil paintings on the borderline between Fauvism and Expressionism.
