Natalie SANZACHE

Natalie Sanzache is a French artist born in Brazil. She trained in various ceramics and cabinetmaking workshops, learning the techniques of shaping and patinating.

From her sunny childhood in Brazil was born her desire to work with light; she speaks of « poetic light ». Seeking to work with new materials, she began to work with concrete, which she manually models like raw clay.

She enjoys making this material, generally perceived as solid and industrial, fragile and delicate. She complements this with a mixture of powders and pigments that she deposits on the concrete.

She also offers wire mesh suspensions coated with plaster that she works like lace.
