Marina Le Gall

Marina Le Gall 's sculptures are as much fantasized chimeras as they aresublimated animals, witnesses of her past reminiscences.

Growing up in the Breton countryside on her family's farm, the artist, who graduated from the École des Beaux-Arts de Paris in 2014, was constantly imbued with animal attitudes throughout her childhood.

Meticulous observation has led the artist to reproduce rabbits or dogs whose movement is frozen by the ceramic. By way of glaze, the blending of colors becomes the fur of these poetic creatures. The artist invites naivety into reality, invoking her childhood by modeling her relationship with nature.

Marina Le Gall is currently represented by the Françoise Livinec gallery.
