Marina Le GALL
The sculptures of Marina Le Gall are as much fantasized chimeras as they are sublimated animals, testaments to her past reminiscences.
Having grown up in the Breton countryside on the family farm, the artist, who graduated from the École des Beaux-Arts de Paris in 2014, has constantly absorbed animal attitudes since childhood.
Careful observation has driven the artist to reproduce rabbits or dogs whose movement is frozen by the ceramic. As a glaze, the mixtures of colors become the coat of poetic creatures. The artist invites naivety into reality, invoking her childhood by shaping her relationship with nature.
Marina Le Gall is currently represented by the Françoise Livinec gallery.
