Frédérique MATTEI

It is in her workshop in the 7th arrondissement of Paris that Frédérique Mattei creates her jewelry.
Unique pieces or limited series, they are part of a global research work through drawings and sculptures.
Sculptural necklaces linking pearls and rare elements from horizons and civilizations that would never have met,
sculptures to wear, jewelry-paintings, drawings... They express an identity as much as words or gestures.
The intention is to assemble, to unite objects, fragments, parts to create a new, resolutely contemporary entity.
