Editions Serge MOUILLE
A few kilometers from Monthiers, where Serge Mouille settled in 1963, our workshop perpetuates his work with craftsmanship of excellence. Design icons since the '50s, Serge Mouille's black lamps can be recognized by their long, graphic arms and emblematic reflectors, articulated by the brass ball-and-socket joint that punctuates the line with a golden glow.
Each luminaire is crafted according to the original methods: shaping the aluminum reflectors, brazing, assembling the brass ball joint. This heritage, handed down from master to disciple, guarantees pieces conceived as sculptures: beauty and utility, aesthetics and function.
Each model respects the designs, proportions, materials and colors defined by Serge Mouille. Luminaires are numbered and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.
In contrast to industrialized production, every detail, from the choice of materials to the adjustment of the pivoting arms, is precisely assembled and adjusted by hand. The apparent simplicity of the shapes masks precise balance and technical rigor.
Founded in 1999 by Gin Mouille and Claude Delpiroux, Éditions Serge Mouille remains a family-run business, today managed by Didier Delpiroux, who works with local partners to preserve the spirit and high standards of the master.
