I have a dream

Sara Badr Schmidt

Impression sur toile montée sur caisson lumineux

1950 *

The work I have a dream finds its starting point in a photo taken in New York York in April 2005. The famous refrain of Martin L. King’s speech on August 28, 1963 for equal rights between black and white coloured persons resonates in all of us.

“These words that belong to all places and all times. Equality, freedom and peace remain a dream.”
