Atelier LAVIT

Marco Lavit founded his architecture and design firm, Atelier LAVIT, in Paris in 2014 active both in France and Italy.

His sensibility for design germinated in the studio Riccardo Blumer, architect and designer. His time at LAN Architecture strengthened his focus for architecture, with a strong emphasis on design culture and attention to the details.

The work of Atelier LAVIT is rooted in the dialogue with craftsmen and their know-how, especially the so-called Made in Italy. Architecture and design often work in parallel, seeking to achieve essential forms. Thus, the pieces produced do not follow trends, but rather let the strength of the raw materials speak for the designs themselves. In architecture, the studio prefers the use of wood, often applied to innovative housing structures in France, Italy and Spain.
